    Customer Service Questions

     

    What are your office hours?

    Our office hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30PM Mountain Standard Time, Monday through Friday, holidays excepted.

    What are your delivery hours?

    We accept deliveries between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Monday through Friday, holidays excepted.

    Can we "will call" our order?

    Yes. Please notify customer service when you place your order that you intend to will call.

    What are your normal lead times?

    Lead times vary by product and stocking arrangements. If the product you are ordering is in stock, we can normally fulfill a request for delivery the following business day. We also provide JIT (Just In Tme) stocking and delivery commitments under contract that provide for delivery lead times as short as 2 hours. For products that need to be produced, we usually require a 3 to 5 day lead time, again depending on the product and raw materials availability.

    Do you offer warehouse stocking or JIT?

    We offer warehouse stocking and JIT programs to qualified customers. Please contact your sales representative for more details and to see if you may qualify for these programs.

    Do you acept credit cards?

    Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards.

    Why do I need to provide a resale tax number?

    If you intend to resell any products we sell (and not consume them in the course of your normal business), you must provide us with a resale tax ID number issued by the state you normally do business in. We must charge the prevailing local sales tax rate unless we have this information in our records. If you are claiming an exemption for any reason, you must provide us with your resale tax ID number.

    Can you help in design or redesigning our packaging?

    Absolutely! Preferred Packaging has a fully qualified staff that can assist you in meeting the challenge of designing packaging for new products or redesigning your existing packaging to meet todays requirements. We offer CAD engineered solutions as well as certified testing that enhance our skilled staff of packaging experts.

    Can we send you existing drawing and print specs?

    Yes. We support a large range of graphic and CAD formats on both the PC and Mac platforms. Here is a partial listing of the various formats and software that we can accept files from:

    Adobe Acrobat --> .pdf
    Adobe Photoshop --> .psd
    Adobe Illustrator --> .ai
    Quark --> native quark files
    Macromedia --> all native files
    AutoCAD --> .dxf, .dwg
    Vellum --> all native Ashlar files
    ProEngineer --> all native ProE files
    SolidWorks --> all native SolidWorks files
