PPC Installs Tecasa Starprint Machine
PHOENIX, AZ - December, 2002
Preferred Packaging and Container, Inc, Arizona's preferred
manufacturer of industrial packaging supplies, including wood,
corrugated paper and plasitc containers, as well as foam fabrication,
announced the installation of a new Tecasa Starprint II flexo
folder gluer.
The Starprint II ia a new generation of flexo folder gluers
developed with a bottom printing system. This fully automatic
machine, includes automatic board caliper adjustment, automatic
zero positioning of the modules and automatic wash up system
with ink viscosity control. The machine includes a Sun Automation
lead edge feeder and high graphics system.
This Starprint II has the capability to run at speeds of
18,000 boxes per hour with only a 9 minute change-over time
between runs. All settings and adjustments are completely
automated, allowing Preferred Packaging to quickly change
production runs and efficiently handle both small and large
orders.

and long run production of corrugated boxes for our customers,"

to quickly meet the needs of our customers."
